We are seeking a CRM Developer to join the Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) IT Applications team on a permanent basis in London. This position sits within the technology team under the COO function, reporting to the Power Platform Technical Lead.

 

Role Purpose & Objectives

 

By engineering high-quality solutions within Dynamics 365 CRM and the Power Platform ecosystem, this role directly shapes how RLAM manages client relationships, streamlines workflows and adopts modern technologies that supports our strategic objectives.

 

The Technology team delivers RLAM’s core technology operations ensuring stable systems, strong governance, and high‑quality engineering while driving the firm’s strategic change agenda across platforms, data, and digital capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that supports RLAM with cutting-edge solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead end-to-end development of business solutions through Microsoft CRM and the wider Power Platform across the whole SDLC.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams such as Client Group Sales and Marketing to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable applications.
  • Integration of internal and third-party applications and data sources, working closely with other delivery streams.
  • Drive adoption of Dynamics 365 across business teams.
  • Define and design approved, best-fit solutions within existing architecture and business process flows.
  • Resolve intricate technical challenges, maintaining the highest standards of technical delivery.
  • Adhere to quality assurance measures to improve code quality and streamline route to production.

 

Technical Requirements

 

  • Expert-level knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM, specifically in Sales and Customer Engagement modules.
  • Advanced skills in Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Platform Connectors.
  • Extensive experience with C#.NET (including plug-in development) and JavaScript tailored for Dynamics 365.
  • Proven ability to integrate Microsoft 365 Office applications with Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for analytics and reporting.
  • In-depth understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) principles within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, including COE toolkit and ALM Accelerator or similar tools.
  • Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Journeys Insights (desirable).
  • Experience with Microsoft Co-Pilot Studio and Power Pages (desirable).
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Knowledge of asset management (desirable).

 

Soft Skills & Capability Enablement

 

  • Ability to deliver in-house training sessions on the Power Platform.
  • Lead capability enablement activities such as drop-in sessions and forums.
  • Proven track record in implementing business solutions using the forementioned technologies.
