This Perth based E190 Training and Checking Captain role with Qantas via Network Aviation offers a two year fixed term opportunity to lead high quality training and checking as we introduce the Embraer E190 fleet, with sponsorship and relocation available for eligible candidates. Key requirements include ERJ170/190 type rating with command time, a minimum of 4000 total flight hours, prior training or checking experience on multi‑crew jet aircraft, ATPL (A) licensing, ability to obtain Australian Certificate of Validation and/or Australian ATPL, current aviation medical, instrument rating proficiency check, ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 (Level 6 preferred), ability to pass pre‑employment medical and drug and alcohol tests, ASIC, and a valid passport with at least 12 months validity. As we enter one of the most significant growth phases in our history and introduce the Embraer E190 into our fleet, we are now accepting expressions of interest from experienced E190 pilots for a range of Training and Checking roles on our E190 fleet, including Training Captain, Check Captain and Simulator Instructor.
These roles sit within our Flight Training and Checking team and play a key part in shaping our safety culture, supporting our pilot group, and ensuring high standards of training and operational excellence across the fleet.
