STADA UK Thornton & Ross, part of the STADA Group, is pursuing growth in consumer health with a clear purpose: Caring for people’s health as a trusted partner. The team numbers more than 700 colleagues and operates with values such as Integrity, Entrepreneurship, Agility and One STADA. If you value an open culture where individuality is welcomed, this could be the right place for you.

The role is the eCommerce Marketplace & Pureplay National Account Manager. It is field based with travel to the Reading headquarters in the UK, full-time and permanent, with remote work possible. The focus is to unlock STADA UK’s consumer health potential across emerging digital marketplaces and pureplay eCommerce platforms (excluding Amazon) by blending account management with business development, shaping the strategy, opening new routes to market and scaling existing partners. If you enjoy building partnerships and driving growth in a fast-moving channel, you’ll likely feel at home here.

If you’re excited by shaping digital growth, working cross-functionally with eCommerce, Omnichannel and Marketing teams, and turning data into action, this role could fit you well.

Steering growth in online marketplaces

You will set the marketplace and pureplay strategy, pinpoint new partnerships and build business cases that unlock growth for STADA’s brands. You’ll also own the P&L and joint business plans for key partners, optimising assortment, pricing and promotions while keeping availability and operations efficient. In addition, you’ll raise the brands’ online presence through strong content and partner-specific activation, working closely with eCommerce, Omnichannel and Marketing teams. You’ll rely on data, dashboards and post-event reviews to uncover opportunities, test new ideas and feed insights back into brand, innovation and eCommerce strategy.

What we’re looking for

The right candidate will bring a track record in account management, eCommerce or marketplace roles (ideally within FMCG or Consumer Healthcare) with evidence of growing online customers in NAM, KAM or similar positions.

  • Three or more years in roles focused on accounts or online marketplaces, with demonstrable growth of online customers, preferably in consumer health or fast-moving consumer goods.
  • A build-and-grow mindset, solid commercial sense and comfort using data and digital shelf tools to convert insight into action.
  • A strong relationship builder who can influence stakeholders, remains well-organised, and thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where not everything is predefined.
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field (or equivalent experience) and a demonstrated willingness to keep developing as digital commerce evolves.

What you’ll get in return

The package includes a competitive salary, a car allowance and an annual bonus scheme. There is a Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme offering 6% employer contributions. The role supports hybrid working, with three days in the office and the remaining days at home. You’ll receive 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy up to five additional days. Other perks include a free winter flu jab, wellbeing support through an Employee Assistance Programme and KYAN Wellbeing (free coaching and counselling for you and your family), an Electric Car Scheme through Octopus Energy with on-site EV charging, a Cycle to Work scheme, Enhanced Family Leave, and many additional employee benefits and celebration events.

STADA Group promotes its diverse culture, regardless of gender, age, social or ethnic origin, disabilities, religion, ideology or sexual orientation. They emphasise equal opportunities, respectful cooperation and an inclusive working environment.

Tips to help you land the role

Put your most relevant eCommerce and marketplace experience at the top of your resume, starting with 3+ years in account management or marketplace roles and a clear track record of growing online customers in NAM/KAM or similar positions, ideally in FMCG or Consumer Healthcare.

Demonstrate how you used data and digital shelf tools to turn insight into action. Share a concrete example where you built a business case for a partner and took ownership of P&L, including how you improved assortment, pricing or promotions.

Prepare to discuss a marketplace strategy you’ve led, including how you negotiated partnerships and ensured strong availability and efficient operations. Be ready to describe how you would approach a new partner and what a successful first year would look like.

Ask a thoughtful question about the roadmap for digital marketplaces at STADA UK, such as how the team measures success across partners or how they balance experimentation with the need for consistent, high-quality content and activation.
