Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Maintenance is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical power systems, including diesel generators, synchronization panels, and distribution panels, ensuring maximum reliability, availability, and safety

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in generators and control systems.

  • Troubleshoot synchronization panels and controllers (Deep Sea, ComAp).

  • Monitor generator performance and load sharing.

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair LV/MV distribution panels.

  • Repair breakers, relays, contactors, and protection systems.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.

  • Coordinate with mechanical teams during major breakdowns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in generator and power system maintenance.

  • Strong knowledge of diesel generators, synchronization panels, and electrical systems.

  • Hands-on experience with generator controllers (Deep Sea, ComAp).

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
