CERN is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the upgrade of high power RF amplifiers under engineers, handling wiring, testing and electronics development from electrical distribution to control electronics. You will modify or create schematics using Cadence, Altium Designer, See Electrical or Eplan, dismount obsolete equipment, build and test crates and boards, install power supplies and control electronics, and contribute to quality documentation as part of an R&D team. The role suits candidates with up to two years of professional experience in Electricity or Electronics and a general secondary education diploma, who are nationals of a CERN Member or Associate Member State, and who can work onsite in Geneva, speak English or French with the willingness to learn the other, and be prepared for on-call duties.
