Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team for a contract assignment in Ogden, Utah. The ideal candidate will have experience with panel building, machine wiring, electrical troubleshooting, and schematic interpretation. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork while assembling equipment according to engineering designs and customer specifications.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical wiring and circuits efficiently and safely.
  • Perform machine wiring in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Document and communicate changes, issues, and resolutions throughout the build process.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide updates on build progress and resolve open issues.
  • Support ISO and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Contribute to achieving project goals related to cost, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience preferred.
  • Related vocational or technical education preferred.
  • Journeyman Electrician card preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of:
    • Electrical schematic interpretation
    • Control panel building
    • Machine wiring
    • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately.

 

    Additional Information

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on or beneath machinery.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to obtain the following certifications after hire:
      • Forklift (Hi-Lo) License
      • Aerial Platform Certification
      • Overhead Crane Certification
      • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training
