We’re looking for a qualified Electrician to join our Energy & Utilities team based in Christchurch. In this handson role, you’ll be working across construction, maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification of electrical network assets that keep communities powered and connected.

What We’re Looking For | Ngā pūkenga matua 

We’re seeking a motivated, safetyfocused electrician who takes pride in delivering quality work and enjoys working in a handson field environment. You’ll bring: 

  • A recognised Electrical Trade Qualification with current registration and practising licence 

  • A full driver licence  

  • Experience in electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding 

  • Knowledge of network assets such as substations, transformers and switchgear 

  • Confidence using electrical test equipment and following established procedures 

  • A strong commitment to Zero Harm and safe work practices 

  • A reliable, teamfocused approach with a customerfirst mindset 

  • Physical capability to carry out handson field work 

  • New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency  

You’ll work closely with supervisors, project managers, field crews, clients and customers to ensure work is completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
