NZSki is seeking a well-rounded Electrician for The Remarkables, full-time, onsite in Queenstown, with a love of the outdoors. The role covers electrical work plus general maintenance, diagnosing faults under pressure, and collaborating across a seven-day operation with four long shifts per week. Ideal candidate has current NZ Electrical certification and practicing license, at least two years as a qualified electrician with AC and DC drives, control systems, PLCs and industrial electrics, plus a full NZ driver’s license; HT license is a bonus. The Remarkables ski area have an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded Electrician with a love of the outdoors.
The ideal candidate will be confident in working on a variety of electrical equipment. Electrical work might be your main task, but you may also be asked to assist with general maintenance duties as and when required.

This is a full-time permanent position with The Remarkables.
About You
• The ability to diagnose faults under pressure
• A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to innovate and implement ideas that will enhance our operation.
• Willing to teach or train other team members where applicable
• A positive appreciation of safety in the workplace
• A willingness to be flexible with hours of work
Skills and Qualifications
• A current NZ Electrical certification and practising license
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician with knowledge of AC & DC drives, Control Systems, PLC’s and Industrial Electrics
• A full NZ driver’s license. HT licence would be advantageous.
Working four days a week across a seven-day operation.
