SIMPEC is seeking experienced electricians to join the Alkimos Desalination Plant project, a WA program north of Perth. This Perth metro on site role offers a Monday to Friday roster with occasional Saturday work during phases and a 12+ month tenure, delivering water security for Western Australia via a 33.5 km pipeline. Prerequisites include a WA Electrical License, Australian Recognised Trade Certificate, Construction Card, and Low Voltage Rescue, CPR within 12 months, plus Working at Heights within 2 years and High Risk Work WP. About the Project

SIMPEC has been awarded the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works for the Alkimos Desalination Plant Project.

Be part of this major AU$2.8 billion project, delivering critical infrastructure to strengthen Western Australia's future water security. The new desalination plant will supply drinking water to millions of Western Australians and connect to Perth's water network via a 33.5 km underground pipeline between Alkimos and Wanneroo.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Must be able to pass full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Previous Construction / Mining Experience
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• WA Electrical License
• Low Voltage Rescue & CPR Certificate (Within 1 Year)
• Provide First Aid
• High Risk Work Licence - WP
• Working at Heights (Within 2 Years)
• Construction Card
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Australian Work Rights
