We have an opportunity for an Emergency Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in Kawakawa!

This is 3 month fixed term position, working an average of 42 hours on a 4 x 4, DDNN roster.

In this role you will: 

  • Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer
  • Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care (under supervision)
  • Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
  • Complete other relevant administrative tasks. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • a minimum of a Hato Hone St John First Responder qualification or ATP of EMT
  • a full NZ driving licence and either have held it for at least one year OR have completed an NZTA approved advanced driving course.
