Whakarongorau Aotearoa is seeking an Emergency Triage Nurse or Paramedic for a full‑time on‑site role in the Ambulance 111 Call Centre in Auckland or Wellington. You will provide 24/7 telephone and online triage, perform secondary triage for callers who may not require an ambulance, and guide people to appropriate care while upholding confidentiality and cultural safety. The ideal candidate is a NZ Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a current practicing certificate, at least 3 years post‑registration, and 2 years in emergency care or teletriage. Strong communication, composure under pressure, tech confidence, and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi are essential.
