You’ll advocate for inclusive hiring practices and workplace adjustments, and you’ll work to create partnerships with companies that share a commitment to diversity.
Celebrating progress is part of the job, so you’ll acknowledge milestones with participants and teammates alike. You’ll also invest effort in building lasting connections with organisations that want to shine a spotlight on inclusive opportunities, reinforcing a culture where everyone can contribute.
Alongside direct work with participants, you’ll engage with employers and stakeholders to align on opportunities, communicate needs and drive outcomes that reflect inclusive hiring principles.

Tips for applicants
Lead your resume with a concise summary of your work helping people with disability move into employment, and highlight concrete outcomes you’ve achieved when possible, such as placements made or partnerships formed.
When you demonstrate the must-haves, pair each requirement with evidence from your background. Include details about your licence and vehicle, confirm your MyGovID status, and show readiness to complete checks like the National Police Check and Working with Children Check when invited.
In interviews, come prepared with stories of inclusive hiring advocacy, examples of creative solutions you’ve devised for employment barriers, and how you built collaborations with employers who value diversity.
Ask a smart question that shows you’ve done your homework and care about impact, such as: what kinds of companies have you partnered with for inclusive hiring, and how do you measure success in participant placements?
