Asuria is seeking a full-time on-site Employment Consultant in Hurstville to empower participants to secure sustainable work through tailored coaching, job placement and support, while building employer partnerships. The ideal candidate brings experience in employment services or strong customer service, recruitment or sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and solid IT capabilities. A Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory, and you’ll need to set up a myGovID to access government data. What will you do?

Your role will be to empower our participants to achieve sustainable employment. You will achieve this by

• Providing tailored guidance/coaching, job placement and ongoing support to your client group.
• Identifying new opportunities with local employers that align with our participants goals and needs.
• Understanding the unique employment needs of your clients
• Collaborating with employers to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity

Who are you?

Skills and experience we look for include:

• Experience in a similar role within Employment Services (highly advantageous)
• Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales, contact centre or recruitment (this will set you up for success)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and adaptability (no two days are the same!)
• Attention to detail and skills in administration and use of IT systems

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
