What you’ll do:

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to join our growing Mining team, delivering sustaining capital projects for some of Australia’s most significant mining operations. Based in Adelaide, you’ll play a key leadership role in driving technical excellence, strengthening client relationships, and guiding multidisciplinary project teams across a diverse portfolio of brownfield mining projects.

  • Lead and coordinate engineering delivery across multiple sustaining capital projects.
  • Provide technical direction and oversight to ensure project quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Work closely with clients to understand operational needs and develop practical engineering solutions.
  • Manage engineering scope, schedules, design reviews, and project governance.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers and designers across mining, mechanical, structural, electrical, and civil disciplines.
  • Collaborate with national and global WSP experts to bring best‑practice engineering to every project.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and digital engineering initiatives within the Mining group.

About You

  • A recognised Engineering degree and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
  • Significant experience in mining, sustaining capital, or brownfield project environments
  • Proven capability leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong communication, client‑facing, and stakeholder management skills
  • A commitment to safety, quality engineering, and delivering innovative, sustainable solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced consulting environment
