Bombardier seeks an Engineering Technologist, Technical Services- Structure, a full-time onsite role in Québec to support Global and Challenger structures, manage in-service engineering change requests, monitor fleet reliability, coordinate cross-functional responses, and produce technical publications and presentations. You should have five years in aviation, a college diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or a mechanical engineering degree, solid knowledge of aircraft structures, with Global or Challenger experience a plus, and strong bilingual communication in French and English. · Provide technical support on Global/Challenger structural topics to internal and external customers.
· Issue and manage engineering change requests for in-service issues, working collaboratively with Engineering and the Program Office throughout the review and approval process.
· Monitor fleet performance to identify reliability and technical issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
· Coordinate cross-functional activities in response to fleet operators’ technical inquiries.
· Prepare and deliver technical presentations related to assigned responsibilities and findings.
· Write technical publications, including articles and Advisory Wires, to inform and support the operator community.
· You have at least five (5) years of experience in the aviation industry.
· You hold a college diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or a university degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· You have sound knowledge of aircraft structures; experience with Global and/or Challenger aircraft is considered an asset.
· You are proficient with computers and familiar with MS Office applications.
· You are a strong team player, able to work effectively with colleagues and customers, and demonstrate a positive, proactive, results-oriented attitude.
· You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
· You are willing to maintain 24/7 phone availability and travel occasionally on short notice.
