The Parenting Practitioner Team forms part of the Enhanced Maternal Child Health (EMCH) program as part of Victoria’s Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service. The EMCH program offers flexible actions and interventions to families who would benefit from targeted support.
Enhanced Parenting Practitioners (EPP’s) are responsible for supporting strength-based relationships with families while working closely with other agencies to improve family functioning and parenting capacity in outreach and group settings. EPP’s deliver the Babies in Hume new parents' group as a function of the Universal MCH Service.
