This is a senior sales position where you'll demonstrate value across all organisational levels, from end-users to C-suite executives. You'll need to identify the real decision-makers and mobilisers within complex enterprise structures – understanding who can actually drive change versus who simply holds a title.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management

  • Own and execute territory plans for ~50 enterprise accounts
  • Design comprehensive account strategies including influence matrices, organisational mapping, and growth tactics
  • Identify and close new logo and expansion opportunities
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships across your portfolio

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with your assigned CSM to drive product adoption and customer value
  • Work with Industry Marketing and BDRs to build pipeline
  • Engage Partnership & Alliance teams to leverage VAR opportunities
  • Map customer stakeholders to Nearmap executives for strategic alignment

Revenue & Operations

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate SFDC data and pipeline forecasts
  • Lead proposal development and commercial negotiations
  • Identify optimal purchasing vehicles and procurement paths

You'll be part of a collaborative sales department that values strategic thinking and customer outcomes. The role involves regular interstate travel and attendance at industry events. You'll work closely with teams across Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Our sales methodology emphasises consultative selling and deep customer understanding. You'll be expected to develop expertise in Nearmap's technology stack and stay current with industry trends to provide strategic guidance to customers.

Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • 5+ years in enterprise sales, consistently achieving quota
  • Experience managing 40-60 accounts in a defined vertical
  • Proven track record selling to C-suite executives
  • Strong background in SaaS/subscription models
  • Demonstrated success in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

Skills & Capabilities

  • Deep understanding of value-based solution selling
  • Ability to build and articulate ROI/business cases
  • Experience navigating enterprise procurement processes
  • Strong account planning and territory management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and internal collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with location intelligence or geospatial technologies
  • Knowledge of aerial imagery applications
  • Australian enterprise market experience
  • SFDC proficiency
  • Commercial industry specialisation
