At New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), our purpose is to grow companies internationally – bigger, better, faster – for the good of New Zealand. Technology plays a critical role in helping us achieve that purpose.
We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Systems Engineer - Cloud to help shape, secure and evolve our Microsoft Azure and M365 environments. What you'll be doing
As part of a team of six, you'll act as a key Azure SME, contributing to operational excellence, major incident resolution, cloud architecture, roadmap development and technology enablement across NZTE.
What you'll bring
You'll know your Availability Zones from your Region Pairs, understand when to use service principals and managed identities, and recognise that the best solution balances security, availability, functionality and cost.
Importantly, this is not a first-line Service Desk role. We're looking for a proactive cloud engineer who can provide technical leadership, shape future platforms and act as a trusted Azure SME for NZTE.
