Griffith University is seeking an Ethics Administration Officer to join the Ethics, Integrity and Governance team within the Office for Research, full time onsite at Nathan with potential across campuses. The role coordinates ethics review workflows, handles ethics related enquiries, manages workload allocation, and helps develop training materials and reports to support operational and strategic decisions across human and animal ethics and governance. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of experience, strong administration and stakeholder skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, and solid written communication and data management capabilities; experience in research ethics or governance is desirable. This is a six month fixed term contract at HEW Level 5 with a salary range of $82,415 to $92,456 plus 17 percent employer super. The Ethics Administration Officer is a member of the Ethics, Integrity and Governance team within the Office for Research. Under general direction, this position provides administrative and operational coordination to support the delivery of the activities of the team, contributing to efficient service delivery across human research ethics, animal ethics and research governance functions.

As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full-time base salary for a HEW Level 5 is in the range $82,415 - $92,456 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range $96,426 - $108,174 per annum.
