Objective:

Responsible for managing the complete procurement cycle to ensure high-quality materials and services are available to support smooth production flow. Involves supplier identification, negotiation, order management, and continuous monitoring of inventory levels to avoid shortages or delays. Plays a vital role in maintaining operational continuity through effective coordination with production, quality, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement & Supplier Management

    • Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and required services.
    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, andreliability.
    • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to secure cost-effective andquality-focused supply agreements.
  2. Inventory & Material Planning

    • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and coordinate with production for timely replenishment.
    • Conduct regular market research to track price trends, new materials, and alternative supplier options.
    • Ensure materials purchased meet required specifications through coordination with quality and engineering teams.
  3. Purchase Operations & Documentation

    • Issue purchase orders, track order status, and follow up with suppliers on timelines.
    • Resolve delivery discrepancies, delays, or quality-related issues promptly.
    • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation for audit readiness.
  4. Compliance, Coordination & Process Excellence

    • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and best practices.
    • Build strong internal relationships with production, engineering, and quality teams.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the same role or similar field.
      • Strong analytical and documentation capability.
      • Good computer knowledge including ERP and MS Office.
      • Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management.
      • Effective communication skills and a professional, friendly approach.
      • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
