How you will make an impact (Key responsibilities) :
1. POS & Store Systems Management Implement, configure, and maintain Point of Sale (POS) systems across all stores. Manage sub-systems like Time & Attendance and Traffic Counting systems. Ensure antivirus updates and system patches are applied consistently.
2. Network & Communication Infrastructure Configure and manage WAN/LAN networks, including Cisco 8700/8600 series and wireless routers. Coordinate with telecom providers to resolve technical faults on communication lines. Implement and maintain Citrix clients and other remote access solutions.
3. End-User Systems & Applications Configure end-user devices, emails, and mobile platforms like Blackberries. Install and manage routine applications, such as MS Office, and apply system settings. Provide technical support to group and associate companies for hardware and software issues.
4. Telephony & System Security Configure and implement Nortel telephone systems. Monitor and maintain security across systems, ensuring antivirus updates and system patches. Conduct routine system checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
The ideal Hardware Engineer should have 3-5 years of experience in hardware engineering or a related field. Proficiency in hardware design, testing, and troubleshooting
