Job Description

As a Luxury Expedition Cruise Expert, you will act as a trusted advisor to discerning travelers seeking once-in-a-lifetime journeys to the world’s most remote and awe-inspiring destinations. You will consult, design, and sell integrated land & sea itineraries, combining expedition cruising with bespoke pre- and post-trip land experiences – delivering seamless, high-touch service from first conversation through final return home.

From the initial discovery call, you will guide clients through expedition cruise options across Asia, the Mediterranean, Galapagos, Europe, Central America and the Polar regions. You will confidently navigate vessel selection, cabin categories, inclusions, expedition programming, seasonal considerations, and logistics, while also curating pre- and post-cruise extensions including private guides, luxury lodges, charter flights, hotels, and immersive cultural experiences.

This role requires a highly consultative, creative, and value-driven sales approach. You will manage the full sales cycle—from sourcing availability and quoting to finalizing bookings with our curated expedition cruise partners—while identifying opportunities to enhance the journey through custom land extensions, fly-cruise options, and multi-country Land & Sea itineraries. Your ultimate goal is to ensure every client returns home transformed—and eager to plan their next expedition.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience selling cruise travel using a consultative, relationship-based approach
  • Direct experience with luxury or expedition cruises and/or complex Land & Sea itineraries strongly preferred
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets in a high-touch environment
  • Demonstrated ability to design and sell pre- and post-cruise land extensions and multi-destination journeys
  • Strong understanding of logistics, inclusions, and sequencing across land and sea components
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple active itineraries
  • Experience building customized FIT travel for luxury clientele is a strong asset
  • Comfortable learning and navigating CRMs, booking platforms, and supplier systems
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills with a calm, client-first approach
  • Knowledge of expedition cruising in polar, remote, European, or North American regions preferred
