Job Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Expedition Logistics Employee to join our operations team in Weert, Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient expedition of goods. You will work with multiple stakeholders to optimize supply chain processes, maintain accurate documentation, and support the smooth execution of shipments from our Weert facility.

  • Coordinate expedition planning and logistics operations, including scheduling, routing, and resource allocation
  • Manage inventory tracking and maintain accurate records of shipments, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to confirm delivery schedules and resolve logistics issues
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs forms and international shipping requirements
  • Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company logistics protocols
  • Support warehouse operations and coordinate with warehouse staff to facilitate efficient loading and unloading
  • Maintain organized records and databases using logistics management systems
  • Troubleshoot logistics challenges and implement solutions to minimize delays

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in logistics operations, expedition coordination, or supply chain management
  • Proficiency with logistics software and inventory management systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures
  • Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving abilities and capability to work independently
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and supply chain processes
  • Experience with route planning and vendor management (preferred)
  • Knowledge of European logistics standards and regulations (preferred)
