Dubai, AE

Millennium Hotels and Resorts is seeking an F&B Associate for its Dubai operations. This is a full-time, onsite role that sits in the hotel dining area and focuses on delivering friendly, efficient food and beverage service to guests. The company operates a portfolio of hotels and aims to provide dependable, guest-centred experiences across its properties.

The position is based in Dubai, AE, and is ideal for someone who enjoys direct guest interaction, values teamwork, and takes pride in keeping a dining area clean and well presented. If you’re drawn to coordinating with the kitchen and F&B team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction, this could be a good match.

If you like fast-paced, guest-facing work that blends order-taking, food and beverage service, and opportunities to upsell promotions, you’ll find this role a solid fit.

Serving guests in the hotel dining room

On a typical shift, you’ll welcome guests, take orders, answer menu questions, and suggest items that suit their tastes. You’ll then relay those orders to the kitchen and ensure that food and drinks arrive accurately and promptly.

You’ll present meals and beverages in line with the establishment’s standards and presentation guidelines, while handling guest inquiries and requests with courtesy. The job also involves keeping the dining area tidy, setting tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining an orderly space throughout service.

Working closely with kitchen staff and the broader F&B team, you’ll coordinate service to avoid gaps and delays, look for upsell opportunities and promote specials to enhance the guest experience, and manage guest payments with accuracy. You’ll follow hygiene and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment and assist with restocking and replenishing supplies as needed.

Must-have capabilities for this role

From the duties above, these capabilities are what the posting seems to require.

Advice for applicants

Lead your resume with front-of-house experience that shows you can greet guests, take orders, relay information to the kitchen, and deliver meals to a high standard. Include concrete examples of times you assisted guests, how you supported smooth service, and any promotions you sold that boosted guest satisfaction.

Be ready in interviews to describe a moment when you handled a payment accurately and quickly, and to share how you’ve used upselling ideas to improve the dining experience for guests. Tie these examples to the role’s emphasis on accuracy, service quality, and guest delight.

Have a short story ready about collaborating with kitchen and F&B teammates to keep service flowing during busy periods. Mention how you communicated changes, stayed organized, and helped maintain safety and cleanliness while supporting the team.

Ask a precise question about how the hotel trains staff on environmental, health, and safety procedures and how upselling promotions are integrated into daily service. A good opening question could be: How do you measure success for F&B associates during peak hours, and what training is provided for promoting promotions while maintaining safety standards?
