Mercury Hampton Ltd are seeking an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator in Kidderminster. This full time on site role offers 40 hours per week with overtime, and a rate of £25.00 per hour plus overtime at 1.3x, 1.5x and 2x depending on hours. You will MIG weld mild steel to a high standard, fabricate from engineering drawings, measure mark out cut and assemble fabrications, and operate workshop machinery while maintaining safety and quality. Requirements include proven MIG Welder Fabricator experience, ability to read drawings, own air fed welding mask, PPE, reliability and a track record of meeting deadlines. The Role

• Working within a busy fabrication workshop, your duties will include:
• MIG welding mild steel to a high standard.
• Fabricating components from engineering drawings.
• Measuring, marking out, cutting and assembling fabricated steelwork.
• Using workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Working both independently and as part of an experienced fabrication team.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Competent using fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
• Own air-fed welding mask is essential.
• Own safety boots and standard PPE.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work to production deadlines.
