Pay & Overtime

Basic Rate: £25.00 per hour

40-hour standard working week

Overtime paid at 1.3x, 1.5x and 2x your hourly rate, depending on hours worked.

The Role

  • Working within a busy fabrication workshop, your duties will include:
  • MIG welding mild steel to a high standard.
  • Fabricating components from engineering drawings.
  • Measuring, marking out, cutting and assembling fabricated steelwork.
  • Using workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely.
  • Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Working both independently and as part of an experienced fabrication team.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Competent using fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
  • Own air-fed welding mask is essential.
  • Own safety boots and standard PPE.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work to production deadlines.
