Your Role:

In this role, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the construction, modification, and upgrading of site infrastructure facilities, ensuring all projects provide technical discipline expertise and meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Support the troubleshooting, timely repair, and statutory periodical maintenance of critical HVAC systems, ranging from coolers and freezers to large industrial chillers.
  • Lead the creation of capital plans for HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS) to optimize assets, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with team accountability.
  • Develop and manage site utility infrastructure to ensure operations are reliable and robust for current manufacturing demands and long-term facility sustainability.
  • Establish preventative and predictive maintenance (PM) plans where none currently exist and maintain up-to-date site-wide utility specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Retain overall responsibility for facility electrical systems, including lighting, emergency power, fire alarms, door access controls, and the BMS, while assisting with the site energy management program.
  • Manage utility and facility contractors, support them in daily activities, and maintain clear communication with critical utility supply companies.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to coordinate with Quality and EHS departments, balancing highly complex independent tasks with collaborative team initiatives.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years’ of experience in project management, engineering, and/or HVAC service and repair. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other engineering discipline.
  • Strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project scope conceptualization skills.
  • Experience with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working with external contractors.
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Auto CAD. 
  • Experience with reading and developing electrical line drawings and piping and instrumentation drawings.
  • Experience with OSHA’s Standards for Construction Safety, Process Safety Management, Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work, and Confined Space Entry++.

 

Pay Range for this position - $97,800-$146,700

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
