SUMMARY
Directs and coordinates all activities of the Franklin Foundry, including manufacturing operations, safety, quality, maintenance, environmental compliance, employee relations, and overall business performance. Provides leadership through subordinate managers and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production in alignment with company goals, policies, and values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages subordinate managers and leaders in areas that may include Manufacturing, Engineering/Maintenance, Safety/Environmental, Human Resources, Quality, and other support functions. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned departments. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; recognizing and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred; and four to ten years of progressively responsible manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in a foundry, heavy manufacturing, or industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
