Kepak Group is a leading food production company and we are looking for a Factory Cleaner to join our team at our Bodmin site. As an Industrial Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our manufacturing plant, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of food safety and quality.

In this role, you will work day shifts from Monday to Friday, starting at 06:30am. This is a full-time position with job security and excellent earning potential, with the opportunity to earn up to £29,110.00 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the factory including floors, walls, and ceilings to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Empty garbage cans and recycling bins throughout the plant
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment and all food contact surfaces
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as power washers, scrubbers, and vacuums
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and uphold quality standards
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines
  • Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in industrial cleaning or food production is preferred
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines and HACCP
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible availability to work different hours if needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment as require
