Each is seeking a Family & Family Violence Counsellor in Ringwood for a 0.6 FTE fixed-term role until November 2026, with Monday and Tuesday on site. The Pathways to Resilience Southern program delivers trauma-informed, culturally sensitive counselling to victim survivors, families, children and young people, in partnership with Uniting and the Australian Childhood Foundation. You’ll need tertiary qualifications in Counselling or Social Work, demonstrated trauma-informed practice with family violence, and experience using the MARAM framework for risk and safety. Standout skills include excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities and a commitment to diverse communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, CALD and LGBTIQ+. Delivered in partnership with Uniting and the Australian Childhood Foundation, the program offers individual counselling, group programs, and support for children and young people.
Services are trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and delivered either face-to-face or online. Our experienced team creates safe, respectful spaces where people feel heard and supported.
