Job Description

Your internship at Canam 
As a Field Coordinator intern, you will dive into the world of structural steel projects and get hands-on experience with Canam's specialized systems. You will spend your entire internship on-site in Kelowna, BC, learning the ropes and supporting the team in the successful execution of the Hambro system (including walls, joists, structural steel, and D500).

In this role, you will be invited to contribute to and learn from the following tasks:

• Support quality assurance/quality control processes: assist in carrying out quality control checks, from the receipt of materials to their final use on-site.
• Assist with delivery logistics: help coordinate the arrival of components to ensure a smooth flow of materials.
• Participate in site coordination: shadow our experts to see how we manage communication and site activities.
• Contribute to site reports: help document daily progress and keep project records up to date.
• Follow-up on fieldwork: help identify and track deficiencies to ensure everything meets our quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering in process
• Technical knowledge in Smartsheet, Trimble, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Excel
• Interest in teamwork
• Autonomy and ability to manage priorities
• Willingness to progress
