The Impact You'll Make
You’ll play a hands-on role in helping customers across Canada get the most from their AC drive systems, solving real-world challenges across industries like energy, metals, water, and oil & gas. Your expertise will directly support uptime, performance, and efficiency for critical operations.
In this role, you’ll combine technical problem-solving with customer partnership, delivering high-quality service both on-site and remotely. You’ll be a trusted advisor, helping customers optimize their systems while strengthening long-term relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead start-up, commissioning, and optimization of AC drives and drive systems across customer sites

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and performance testing

Support customers with application expertise, ensuring systems are configured and running at peak efficiency

Manage on-site service delivery, including documentation, reporting, and coordination of installation and commissioning activities

Collaborate with internal teams to support sales, training, and continuous improvement, while contributing insights from field experience
What We're Looking For
-
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/ Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation or Physics, or relevant industry experience, with variable frequency drives, commissioning, or industrial automation projects

Background in industries such as HVAC, energy, oil & gas, metals, or power conversion, with strong technical understanding

Knowledge of electrical systems, drive controls, and system integration, with the ability to troubleshoot complex applications

Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial communication protocols; understanding of UL508A and other relevant standards is a plus

Experience using EPlan P8 and AutoCAD to create and modify electrical, control, and mechanical drawings

Strong communication and customer-facing skills, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%), including international assignments, and work in diverse environments

The Canadian base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 -$100,000 CAD + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
