Vaillant Group U.K. Ltd, a long-standing heating specialist with a global footprint, is looking for a permanent, full-time Field Service Engineer to join the London team. The role is based on site in London and will service postcodes N and NW, giving you a stable daily routine and a chance to work close to home. This position suits engineers who enjoy hands-on work, problem solving and delivering excellent customer service, with a focus on safety and quality.

The successful candidate will report to the Field Service Manager and join a team backed by Operational Support Technicians and a training department. They will service and repair Vaillant Group brand products, carry out fault finding on breakdown callouts and perform system work repairs, while supporting the sales function by meeting KPI targets and adhering to field procedures.

What The Field Service Engineer Will Do In N And NW London

On a typical day you’ll service and repair Vaillant domestic heating products, diagnose faults on breakdown calls and undertake system work repairs as needed. You’ll deliver customer service excellence at every opportunity, explaining repairs clearly and managing expectations while keeping safety and quality at the forefront. Your work will be guided by established Field Service procedures and will align with Field Sales initiatives, with practical support from a seasoned team of Operational Support Technicians and the training department.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you’ll be part of a structure that values proactive problem solving and continuous learning. You’ll balance technical work with customer interactions, ensuring colleagues and customers alike understand what’s needed and why, while contributing to the team’s wider goals and standards.

Who Vaillant Is Looking For

  • CCN1, HTR1, CENWAT1 & LPG ACS gas certificates.
  • A high level of technical knowledge of the domestic gas range of Vaillant Group products, and effective communications and IT skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a flexible, adaptable approach.
  • A highly motivated field engineering background with the ability to balance customer expectations with stakeholder needs to deliver service excellence.
  • An interest to grow skills and knowledge to carry out work on developing future technologies such as Renewable and Commercial products.
  • Nice-to-have: Preferably live in postcode area N or NW.
