We are looking for a talented and experienced Field Service Engineering (FSE) Specialist - Senior to join our Field Service Engineering team supporting North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia, from United Arab Emirates, Dubai

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical support resource, leading investigations into product or system issues and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support failure analysis processes for common failure modes and provide diagnostic expertise for complex or hard-to-diagnose problems.
  • Provide on-site technical support when required to assist field operations.
  • Accurately document diagnostics, repair actions, and failure reports in dedicated Cummins databases (OneCummins) in compliance with our quality standards.
  • Manage the escalation of complex issues to the appropriate support level.
  • Mentor and coach regional technicians to enhance their technical capabilities.
  • Ensure effective communication across territories through regular engagement with teams, functions, and customer groups.
  • Apply and promote structured problem-solving methodologies, such as the Seven-Step Problem Solving Approach.
  • Support Cummins Business Units (EBU, PSBU, PowerGen, Accelera) with technical input on current projects, field action campaigns, Infant Care, and Value Package Introduction (VPI) programs.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Proven skills in troubleshooting, data evaluation, and failure analysis of engines and Powergen products.
  • Prior experience in a service technical role (e.g., Senior Technician, Service Engineer, Service Technical Advisor) with both hands-on repair expertise and direct customer interaction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including technical report writing, preparing presentations, and presenting to senior management.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential with interest in developing toward future people-leadership responsibilities.

Education/ Experience

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering, or related field is highly preferred or relevant experience equivalent required.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. Prior experience in a technical role is preferred.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
