The role includes inspecting equipment, requesting spare parts, operating workshop and mobile lifting gear, diagnosing faults in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, fabricating parts, lubricating machinery and running adjustments. Essential qualifications are Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology or Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) or Diesel Fitter or Electrotechnology (HV) or Automotive Electrical Technology; desirable experience with large excavators or haul trucks and Liebherr mining equipment, plus High Risk Licences (LF, DG, EWP) and Working at Heights. The Field Service Technician is responsible for the provision of; safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacements services to the Division’s customer base.
Provide diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services; including but not lim ited to:
• Inspect plant and equipment for conformity with established standards
• Request required spare parts
• Operate workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment
• Diagnose faults, repair, maintain and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic com ponents
• Diagnose and rectify minor electrical faults
• Repair damaged or faulty parts by machining & welding or fabricating new parts
• Lubricate plant and equipment
• Running adjustments to mechanical equipment

Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology OR
