Job Overview

 

TE Connectivity’s Connected Living Solutions Americas Finance Team has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst III. This role will be based at our manufacturing facility in Jonestown, PA (hybrid), and will support Plant Finance, working closely with Plant Operations, Supply, Materials and Divisional Finance.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Excel based reporting in various areas of concentration for plant operations, such as: PPV (Purchase Price Variance), Inventory Adjustments, Spare Parts, Freight, etc.
  • Assist in developing detailed cost center spending forecasts and budgets for the Lickdale factory
  • Analyze weekly and monthly variances to forecast
  • Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures and perform testing to validate compliance
  • Participate in Daily Plant Operational Meetings and Kaizen events as needed
  • Understand key cost streams and identify and drive cost saving opportunities (TEBIT)
  • Assist in the month end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and analysis of results
  • Partner with Plant Operations Team on strategic initiatives; provide decision support activities on key business cases and projects
  • Provide direct support to the Plant Controller and work closely with Plant Operations, Supply, Materials and Divisional Finance
  • Standard cost updates as necessary

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Three (3) years’ manufacturing environment experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products possessing advanced Excel skills
  • Must be proficient in the English language

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $90,000 – 112,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
