Position Summary
The Finance Value Stream Solution Architect – OneStream is accountable for the end-to-end architecture, delivery enablement, and operational integrity of the Finance Value Stream, with OneStream as the core Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform. This role combines solution architecture leadership, finance functional expertise, value stream governance, and day-to-day operational ownership across Finance capabilities including FP&A, Financial Consolidation, Account Reconciliation, Transaction Matching, Product Costing & Controlling, and PCR financial management. The position acts as the single point of accountability for solution integrity across run, change, and new demand, ensuring platforms are reliable, scalable, well-governed, and continuously evolving in alignment with SAFe and value stream principles.
What are your contributions to the team?
Solution & Value Stream Architecture
- Own the end-to-end architectural vision and guardrails for the Finance Value Stream with OneStream as the strategic platform.
- Design and govern OneStream metadata models, security, workflows, calculations, and controls.
- Own architectural decisions, trade-offs, and design approvals.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, audit, and data governance standards.
Finance Functional Enablement (OneStream Core)
- FP&A: planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and executive reporting.
- Financial Consolidation: close, eliminations, intercompany, statutory and management reporting.
- Account Reconciliation & Transaction Matching: automation, controls, and audit readiness.
- Product Costing & Controlling: cost object transparency, variance analysis, margin and program cost visibility.
PCR Financial Governance
- ATM Budget, milestones, unit cost and option impacts per PCR (Product Change Request), core reporting.
- Risks & Opportunities, Service Bulletin provisions, Claim Mandates, VNR tracking, profitability analysis, dashboards and analytics.
- Alignment of SAP S/4HANA Finance actuals with OneStream.
- Enable Finance decision forums including Budget, F1/F2/F3 financial submissions and Change Boards.
- Support scenario analysis, thresholds, and traceability of PCR financial impacts.
Demand Management & Delivery Governance
- Act as the front door for Finance demand related to OneStream.
- Translate demand into solution options, estimates, and delivery approaches.
- Partner with PMO and System Integrators for delivery governance.
Vendor & License Management
- Act as platform owner for OneStream.
- Own licensing, access governance, renewals, and usage optimization.
- Provide technical validation of vendor proposals and manage performance.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or a related field.
- You have 7–10+ years in Finance IT, CPM/EPM, or ERP architecture roles.
- You have hands-on OneStream experience across FP&A, Consolidation, Reconciliation, Transaction Matching, Product Costing & Controlling.
- You have experience in multi-vendor and SI-led delivery models.
- Exposure to OneStream integration with SAP S/4HANA is an asset.
- Exposure to PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)/ Teamcenter or PCR lifecycle systems is an asset.
- Experience working within SAFe or value-stream-based delivery models is an asset.
- Experience in manufacturing or program-driven cost environments is an asset.
