About The Position

Employment Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in the Sydney head office. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for completing financial reporting activities, including month end, to deliver the statutory and reporting requirements of the listed Bravura entity and its subsidiaries. 


What You’ll Do

Main Activities Whilst we expect all our employees to do what needs to be done to demonstrate their support of Bravura Solutions, below are some specific aspects of your role for which you will be responsible:

Month-End Management 
  • Responsible for month end activities across both the consolidated and subsidiary entities, including balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Completion of month end activities in accordance with high levels of quality and attention to detail and the timetable / timelines.
Financial Accounting
  • Responsible for compliance activities including assisting with tax compliance, ABS surveys, and other compliance activities as relevant to each jurisdiction. 
  • Proactively respond to financial stakeholder enquiries 
  •  Participates in ad hoc tasks and projects including transformation, audits and other related business initiatives 
  •  Actively participate in the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts 

 Ad-Hoc Duties 

  • Proactively promotes innovation, improvements or enhancement of relevant areas of financial reporting, relating to both systems and processes 
  • Actively identifies and calls out emerging regulatory, reporting requirements
