About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to manage end-to-end financial accounting and reporting activities. This role is responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial results, strong controls and compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements. You will play a key role in financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, audit support and continuous improvement, partnering closely with internal and regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end close, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Maintain balance sheet integrity, including intercompany balances and complex reconciliations
  • Account for payroll, commissions, bonuses, leave provisions and IFRS16 leases
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards and commentary for stakeholders
  • Review P&L, balance sheet and cash flow results
  • Support tax, statutory reporting and audit processes (ATO, APRA, ABS)
  • Approve payments within delegated authority
  • Contribute to improving financial controls, policies and processes

To be successful in this role:

About You

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • 3–4+ years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Australian tax (GST, FBT, Income Tax)
  • Proven ability to resolve complex reconciliation issues
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and solutions-focused
  • Strong communicator and collaborative team player
  • Technology industry experience is advantageous but not essential
