About the Role

We are looking for a flexible and proactive individual who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility for controlling activities. This is a great opportunity to shape and drive controlling activities, working closely with key stakeholders and gaining strong exposure across the business. You will play an important role in providing clear financial insights to support decision-making.

 

The role involves regular presence across both sites in Kaiseraugst and Altendorf, depending on business needs and place of residence

Main responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate monthly closing activities, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast, and preparation of management reporting

  • Partner with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to monitor project financials, ensuring control over costs, margins, and overall performance

  • Analyze industrial variances (materials, labor, overhead) and provide insights to Operations to drive efficiency and cost optimization

  • Track and report key industrial KPIs, supporting performance improvement initiatives

  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business targets and providing regular updates

Requirements

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in controlling or FP&A roles

  • Strong analytical mindset and proficiency in Excel and reporting tools

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
