Port of Dover is hiring a Fire Safety Manager (Interim) for a six-month fixed term, full‑time, on‑site role in Dover, reporting to the Head of Health & Safety. You will own and advance the Port’s Fire Safety Management System, drive compliance with fire legislation, oversee fire risk assessments across the estate and capital projects, and provide technical assurance for buildings, operations and major works. Key duties include policy development, audits, emergency planning and contractor fire safety management, with liaison to Kent Fire & Rescue Service and insurers. Essential qualifications include a degree in a fire related discipline, ABBE Level 4 and IFTC Level 4 FRA, knowledge of Building Safety Act, GIFireE/MIFireE membership, UK driving licence and on‑call flexibility; salary £42,500 pro rata, benefits include pension and life assurance.
