The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates Field is an offshore development located in the Caspian Sea, approximately 100 kilometers southeast of Baku, Azerbaijan, at a water depth of 500 meters. The project aims to supply natural gas for both the domestic market through the Sangachal facilities and for international export via the South Caucasus Pipeline. The scope covers the FEED phase with the potential to continue into the EPC phase, leading up to project completion and close-out. The assignment is based in Paris, with occasional missions in Europe and other international locations, and is scheduled to start in January 2026 for a duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Ensure safe, robust, and high-quality offshore and URF pipeline design in line with contract specifications and international standards.
Oversee pipeline engineering from FEED through Detailed Engineering, Qualification, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Construction, Installation, and Pre-Commissioning.
Review, approve, and manage all engineering and construction documents from contractors, ensuring compliance with HSE and company standards.
Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with other disciplines and package managers to ensure coherent pipeline systems and smooth interface management.
Participate in technical reviews, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, risk assessments, and implement recommendations.
Assist QA/QC and project managers in quality assurance, contractor monitoring, and change management.
Promote best practices, safety, and positive team environment, providing technical leadership to project teams.
Support authority approvals and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, codes, and standards.
Expert-level qualification in offshore pipeline engineering.
Extensive experience in major oil & gas project developments.
Strong knowledge of international engineering codes, standards, procedures, and specifications.
Ability to manage FEED, EPC CFT, and EPC phases, including pre-feed extension studies.
Languages: English required.
Proven capability in technical leadership, project coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Strong commitment to HSE, safety, operability, and maintainability.
