As a part-time team member, you will be paid at the award rate of $25.85 per hour plus applicable penalty rates on weekends and public holidays.

Job Description

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be the face of our dining venues and play a vital role in delivering friendly, professional, and memorable service to our guests. Your focus on the guest experience and working as a team will help create exceptional experiences across our restaurant, bar, café, and event operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting guests warmly and attending to their dining needs
  • Taking orders accurately, making recommendations, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables
  • Collaborate with team members to handle guest requests and resolve any issues professionally.
  • Following hygiene and safety standards, including food safety and food allergen requirements
  • Assisting with event setups and functions in the restaurant
  • Delivering in-room dining orders 

What we are looking for

  • Great communication skills, presentation and confidence to engage with guests
  • A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as in our local Melbourne area
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience in restaurant and bar service is preferred - a passion for providing great guest service is what will really make you stand out!

Qualifications

  • A service-focused personality with a genuine interest in food and beverage
  • Experience in espresso coffee making and bartending will be highly regarded
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The availability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings from 5:30 am, late evenings up to 11pm and on weekends and public holidays - please include your availability in your application
  • Flexibility to pick up shifts at short notice would be an advantage
  • You must have current working rights in Australia.
