Position Title: Winter Seasonal Support Staff
Reports to: Floor Supervisor / Restaurant Manager
Wage: $19.50/h
Position: Seasonal Contract October – Early April / Hourly Position

Position Overview:
The Winter Seasonal Support Staff plays an essential role in assisting front-of-house operations by working in concessions grab-and-go during the day time shifts as well as supporting food running duties in the evening shifts. This role ensures quick, friendly service and helps maintain smooth, efficient operations during busy periods. The Support Staff will help deliver food and beverages to guests and assist with side duties to support the overall guest dining experience.

Experience and Requirements:

  • 6+ months experience in a fast-paced food service or customer service environment.
  • Prior experience in grab-and-go, café service or restaurant preferred.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Valid Serving It Right Certificate required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy setting with changing priorities.
  • Previous experience in a ski resort or seasonal venue is an asset.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Provide friendly, efficient service in grab-and-go window operations.
  • Prepare and package grab-and-go food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
  • Operate point of sale equipment for quick transactions when required.
  • Run food and drinks from the kitchen or bar to guests in dining areas or outdoor seating.
  • Assist with clearing, bussing and resetting tables to maintain flow during peak times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession and grab-and-go stations.
  • Refill supplies such as napkins, condiments and utensils to ensure availability for guests.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers and management to support smooth service.
  • Uphold all service and safety standards including Serving It Right protocols.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays is essential.
  • Ability to stand, walk and move quickly for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25lbs including trays and boxes.
  • Work occurs in a busy, fast-paced environment, with potential exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
