Job Overview

As a Food & Beverage Service Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. From welcoming guests and guiding menu choices to ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment, you’ll be the face of our restaurant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, friendly, and professional service while engaging each guest as an individual

• Greet and seat guests according to company standards and explain the style of service

• Present menus, answer questions, and confidently recommend food, beverages, and promotions

• Upsell menu items, beverages, and overall Miral offerings to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue

• Accurately take orders, relay them to the kitchen, and serve food and beverages using correct service techniques

• Handle guest feedback and complaints courteously, applying approved guest recovery solutions

• Operate POS systems, manage cash handling, and ensure accurate transactions and daily reconciliation

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with HACCP, UAE laws, and company policies

• Support opening and closing procedures and assist with stock collection and replenishment

• Maintain housekeeping standards including cleaning equipment, floors, condiment stations, and service areas

• Participate in safety procedures, emergency drills, and food safety training

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental and company KPIs

• Represent Miral positively at all times, upholding brand values and professional image

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Job Essentials

• High School Diploma

• Strong customer service skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude

• Cash handling and POS experience

• Upselling / suggestive selling skills

• Broad food and beverage knowledge

• Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and grow within the role

Job Desirables

• Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter/waitress in a 4-star hotel

• At least 2 years of food and beverage experience

• Banquet service experience

• Bilingual skills (Arabic preferred)
