As our Food & Beverage Services Manager, you will be a visible and hands-on leader, driving operational excellence across our Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant & bar by two-star concept chef Henrique Sa Pessoa, and dynamic event spaces including the signature 300sqm Art Gallery. All whilst inspiring your team to deliver memorable experiences every day for guests, clients and locals.

What you'll be doing as a Food & Beverage Services Manager

Lead the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, bar, events spaces and in-room dining, ensuring exceptional guest experience and service standards across all F&B outlets

Be a visible, hands-on leader on the floor, coaching, supporting and developing your team while leading by example during key service periods and high-profile events

Oversee the planning and delivery of social events, private functions, banquets and celebrations for up to 300 guests, ensuring flawless execution from start to finish.

Manage and develop your team through onboarding, training, performance management, scheduling etc

Partner with the Events, Sales and Kitchen teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maximize event revenue opportunities

Support the development of menus, promotions and innovative Food & Beverage concepts that strengthen our position as one of Amsterdam's most vibrant lifestyle destinations

Build strong relationships with guests, clients, suppliers and colleagues while fostering an engaging and high-performing team culture

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability and service delivery across all areas of Food & Beverage

Contribute as a member of the hotel's leadership team, ensuring compliance with company policies, health & safety standards and operational procedures
What we're looking for

A hands-on operational leader who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with guests, clients and developing teams through visible leadership

Proven and strong experience within a events, banqueting, restaurant or broader Food & Beverage environment

Strong expertise managing and delivering social events, private functions, gala dinners, celebrations and banqueting operations for up to around 300 guests

Strong commercial acumen

Experience overseeing multiple Food & Beverage revenue streams, including restaurants, bars, events and banqueting operations

Previous people management experience with a proven ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams
-
A hotel operations background combined with significant events/banqueting experience is highly desirable

Experience working within hotels, event venues, lifestyle hospitality brands or large corporate hospitality environments is highly valued
-
Excellent communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, solution-focused approach
