3rd Shift - Forklift Operator

Dept. 167 Plant 2

Shift Hours:  7:00 p.m. – 3:30 a.m.

Pay Rate:  $ 16.50 per hour.

Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department.  Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; Assists in movement of product within the distribution process; Unloading/loading of inbound, outbound and transfer trailers; Moving of product from one area to another; Have the ability to work in temps ranging from zero to minus twenty degrees Fahrenheit; Keep dock floors and equipment clear of debris including but not limited to stretch wrap, wood, dust, snow, ice and exposed product; Up-stacking or down-stacking of product for storage, loading and inventories; Pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for OK Foods; Maintain an absentee rate of 5% or less. and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner. Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.  The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
