Arista Networks seeks a seasoned FPGA Design Engineer in Sydney to join the on-site, full-time hardware team building FPGA-based digital systems for cutting-edge networking products. You will design and verify VHDL/Verilog, optimize high-speed FPGA blocks for AMD/Xilinx Ultrascale Plus, integrate with PCIe, Ethernet, HBM and DDR4, perform timing closure, and manage the flow from spec to customer-ready documentation using Vivado, ModelSim and Jira/Git CI/CD. The ideal candidate has 5+ years FPGA/ASIC experience, strong digital design fundamentals, lab bring-up skills, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or demonstrable legal entitlement to work in Australia is required; tailor your resume to highlight relevant projects, timing results, and automation scripts.
