MacKillop Family Services is hiring a Part Time (30.4 hours per week) FPRR Practitioner in Mildura to deliver intensive in-home family support under the Department funded Family Preservation and Reunification program, aimed at keeping children safe at home and preventing entry to care. Reporting to the FPR Senior Practitioner, you’ll conduct holistic assessments, deliver evidence-informed interventions, collaborate with families and services, and practice culturally safe care within a Sanctuary Model framework. To apply effectively, address the full Key Selection Criteria listed in the PD, demonstrate extensive assessment and risk management with vulnerable children and families, and show commitment to First Nations outcomes. ABOUT THE ROLE:
Join a dynamic, evidence-based program funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, designed to keep children safe at home. This role sits within the Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) Response - an innovative, mobile and integrated service delivering intensive, hands-on support to families, followed by ongoing care to prevent children entering or re-entering out-of-home care.
Working as part of a collaborative team and reporting to the FPR Senior Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in strengthening families, connecting with existing services, and contributing to a continuously evolving, sector-leading approach to child and family support across Victoria.
