Job Description

Located steps from Wynyard, Novotel Sydney City Centre is a haven for comfort, productivity and relaxation. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part-time All-Rounder to join our team.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Delivering service excellence from check in to check out and everywhere in between
  • Be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors
  • Completing a variety of tasks ensuring everyday is different. From selling the Hotel's facilities to maintaining guest accounts
  • Perform duties of Night Audit, room controllers and porterage service
  • Providing passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all times
  • Assisting our guests with our self-check in kiosks 
  • Ensuring guests who are not ALL - Accor Live Limitless members are briefed on features and benefits and signed up to the loyalty program 

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience Include:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a Hotel environment 
  • Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and preferably OPERA Cloud 
  • The ability to work under pressure, multi-task and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues
  • Strong communication skills and pride in personal presentation
  • Have a natural ability to surprise guests with your authentic guest service
  • A genuine customer service focus and a strong dedication to always making our guest’s smile during their stay
  • Available to work across a 7-day rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends
