Mechanical BIM Modeler – Job Description
A Mechanical BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 3D mechanical models for building projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. The role involves creating detailed models for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems while ensuring compliance with project standards, design specifications, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Prepare detailed shop drawings, installation drawings, and fabrication drawings from BIM models.

Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes using coordination software.

Update BIM models based on design revisions, RFIs, and site feedback.

Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, client requirements, and industry codes.

Generate schedules, quantity take-offs, and construction documentation from BIM models.

Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintain model accuracy, organization, and version control.
Skills & Qualifications:
